The mission of the Wikimedia Foundation is to empower and engage people around the world to collect and develop educational content under a free license or in the public domain, and to disseminate it effectively and globally.


Any modern day user of the internet is familiar with Wikimedia, the world's most popular online encyclopedia. “Wikipedia contains more than 34 million volunteer-authored articles in over 288 languages, and is visited by more than 447 million people every month, making it one of the most popular sites in the world. It has become the largest collection of shared knowledge in human history. The people who support it are united by their love of learning, their intellectual curiosity, and their awareness that we know much more together than any of us does alone.The Wikimedia Foundation is the non-profit organization that operates Wikipedia and other free knowledge projects.”

The Wikimedia Foundation commissioned me to conceptualize and illustrate a design to help rebrand their online store merchandising that would capture the attention of its curious and scholarly audience.
